Silbergrau blue contains examples that show how blue applications are built. They help you while you are working on your application, act as templates for new projects. Together with the blue cookbooks they build a basis of information for a blue developer.
blue contains the following examples:
- Library: a simple application that shows how simple it is to develop web applications with blue. You can run this application without changing the code on IBM Websphere, Oracle IAS, or BEA Weblogic as well as on one of the free containers like Tomcat or JBoss. Also it's up to you whether you use a IBM DB2, Oracle, MS SQLServer or a MySQL database!
- PetStore: is the blue version of Sun's J2EE blue print application. It allows you to compare blue applications to .NET applications or the classic J2EE applications. Also, read our PetStore WhitePaper (LINK).
- Silg: is a typical web based application for time sheet entries. It shows how to use templates, how to integrate services, and how to handle dialogs and wizards.
blue contains all these examples including the source code.
